Max’s Forecast: Warmer, windier week ahead

The below average temperatures remain, but changes are on the way. Expect warmer and windier weather conditions this week.
Until then, the cooler temperatures will bring morning frost to inland neighborhoods Monday and Tuesday.
Also on Tuesday, Santa Ana winds are likely to return to the valleys and mountains. Those, paired with dry conditions, will increase the risk for fire, although the Santa Ana winds are expected to be fairly weak.
We continue our cool, dry pattern until a warmup in the middle of the week. Our daytime highs will see a 5-10 degree increase from Monday to Wednesday for most areas. Thursday looks to be the warmest day of your extended forecast, especially in the mountains and deserts where temperatures will climb well above seasonal averages.
